Renée Hill 

Ms Renée Hill worked for two public sector IT industry leaders: IBM and Hewlett Packard Corp. for 21 years prior to joining the Federal Government in 2004 as a Contract Specialist with Diplomatic Security (DS) in the Contract Administration Procurement Branch (CAP).  She joined the Office of Acquisitions Management (AQM), Information Systems Branch in 2006 to become a Senior Contracting Officer while serving as a key business advisor supporting several Bureaus in cradle to grave contracting.  Ms Hill joined the Executive Office, Procurement Services Division, A/EX/PAS in January 2013, in a supervisory role as Branch Chief managing Pre-Award Acquisitions for the bureau of Information Resource Management (IRM), while managing the Purchase Card Program for both the Bureau of Administration and Information Resource Management.  In addition, she was a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) on several contracts for the Executive Office. 

In Nov. 2018, Renée re-joined the Bureau of Administration, Office of Acquisition Management in the Business Operations Division A/OPE/AQM/BOD as a Small Business Technical Liaison, a newly appointed position at the Department of State.  She works closely with the Office of Small & Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) in support of Small Business Socioeconomic Goals and Achievements while managing the Electronic Subcontracting Reporting System (eSRSs). Renée supports numerous projects for AQM’s acquisition team in addition to program officials for various bureaus. Renée is a key contributor in industry outreach and engagement events while meeting with Small Businesses regularly.  Renée maintains a Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting – Professional Certification (FAC-C PC) and Top-Secret Clearance.

Renée recently celebrated 19 years of service in the Federal Government September 2023. She’s originally from Greenville, NC and currently resides in Montgomery County, MD.

She enjoys the arts, jazz, cooking, traveling and gardening.  Charles and Renée have two adults, two adorable grandchildren and a spoiled Pit Bull/Blue Nose Terrier pup.
